Fellowship Types — Senior Fellow & Junior Fellow · IFPASA

Fellowship Types

IFPASA offers two fellowship tracks — Senior Fellow for established researchers and academics, and Junior Fellow for graduate students. Both provide affiliation with the American Research Foundation and access to the world's first academic arbitration network.

Senior Fellow

PhD holders · Professors · Researchers

Fellowships are awarded to individuals with outstanding academic and/or professional records who meet the program qualifications and who seek affiliation and international arbitration experience with the American Research Foundation.

What to expect as a Senior Fellow

  • Fellows are part of the ARF International Fellowship Board
  • Fellows are not formal ARF staff members and receive no compensation
  • All tasks are voluntary — fellows contribute on a volunteer basis
  • Fellows are advised to have adequate resources to attend meetings and conferences if selected by ARF
  • ARF does not conduct a formal interview, but may contact applicants for further information by email or video conference

Minimum qualification

A PhD degree at minimum. Professors and Associate Professors are given high preference. Experience in research review and arbitration is a significant plus.
