IFPASA offers two fellowship tracks — Senior Fellow for established researchers and academics, and Junior Fellow for graduate students. Both provide affiliation with the American Research Foundation and access to the world's first academic arbitration network.
Fellowships are awarded to individuals with outstanding academic and/or professional records who meet the program qualifications and who seek affiliation and international arbitration experience with the American Research Foundation.
A PhD degree at minimum. Professors and Associate Professors are given high preference. Experience in research review and arbitration is a significant plus.
Apply as Senior Fellow →Graduate students are welcome to join the IFPASA fellowship program and engage in junior activities organized by the American Research Foundation. The Junior Fellow track is specifically designed to introduce graduate students to the principles of academic arbitration and peer review.
Passing the Graduate Research Achievement Test (GRAT®) is a prerequisite for graduate students seeking Junior Fellow status. The GRAT® assesses research proficiency in Research Principles, Methods, and Practices.
Professional certificate as International Academic Arbitrator and Scientific Assessor — awarded after passing the certification exam.
Fellowship with the American Research Foundation. Letter of Acceptance. Certificate of Membership. Title of Scientific Fellow of the ARF.
Name, rank, title, and contact details listed in the international arbitrators database — accessed by universities worldwide seeking academic arbitrators.
Certificate of Recognition for arbitration and evaluation experience — issued after the first year of active fellowship membership.
