Issued by IFPASA – Research Engagement Rank (RER)
At IFPASA, we are deeply committed to accuracy, transparency, and fairness in compiling the Research Engagement Rank (RER). All data used in the RER is collected from publicly accessible, verifiable sources, including academic journal websites, peer review platforms (e.g., Publons, ORCID), university websites, and recognized indexing databases.
Data Collection Principles
- We do not rely on self-reported data unless independently verifiable.
- Metrics are calculated using a consistent methodology applied equally across all institutions.
- Advanced digital tools and manual validation techniques are used to ensure accuracy.
- Institutions are never ranked based on reputation or prestige, but solely on documented engagement in the academic peer review process.
Membership Opportunity for Institutions
To further enhance transparency, member universities are invited to:
- Preview their institutional data prior to public ranking release.
- Receive detailed metric breakdowns and guidance on how to enhance research review engagement.
- Participate in future consultation rounds that shape the development of new ranking indicators.
Membership is open to any accredited university or academic institution wishing to actively engage with the RER process and benefit from early insights and institutional benchmarking.
