Q1: Who can apply for the certification?
Anyone working with AI systems—developers, organizations, researchers—can apply under the track that matches their role.

Q2: What documents are required?
You’ll be asked to submit items like model/system documentation, governance frameworks, ethical audits, CVs (for Track C), and more. See the Track Guide for full details.

Q3: How long does the process take?
On average, applications are reviewed within 4 to 6 weeks.

Q4: Is the certification globally recognized?
Yes. It aligns with international standards (UNESCO, OECD, EU AI Act) and is issued by IFPASA, a global initiative by ARF.

Q5: How long is the certification valid?

  • Track A: 1–3 years
  • Track B: 2–3 years
  • Track C: 3 years (renewable via CPD)

Q6: What happens if I don’t pass?
You will receive a detailed review with improvement areas. You may reapply after addressing them.

Q7: Can I appeal or challenge a decision?
Yes. An arbitration process is in place if you contest the evaluation outcome.

Q8: Can I become a certified auditor?
Yes—individuals with strong ethics, research, or governance backgrounds can apply to join our assessor community.
